Callum Morton was born in 1965 in Montreal, Canada. He studied Architecture and Urban Planning at The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) before completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Victoria College Melbourne in 1988 and a Masters in Fine Art in Sculpture at the RMIT, Melbourne in 1999. He has taught at numerous institutions in Australian and overseas and is currently Professor and Head of Fine Art of the Faculty of Art Design and Architecture at Monash University, Melbourne.
